Order
In CRM, an Order is a confirmed customer purchase — the commercial event that follows a deal closure and triggers fulfillment, invoicing, and post-sale account management. Orders are typically managed in an ERP or order management system, but connecting order data to the CRM is essential for sales and customer success teams who need to know what a customer has actually purchased, at what price, and when delivery or implementation is scheduled. Order data in CRM also informs renewal conversations (what expires and when), cross-sell opportunities (what they have versus what they could benefit from), and churn risk assessment (whether order volume is declining over time).
