Goal
In CRM, a Goal is a defined performance target set for an individual sales representative, team, or business unit — such as a revenue quota, number of qualified meetings, pipeline generation target, or customer retention rate — tracked against actual performance over a specified period. Goal tracking within CRM creates accountability and visibility: managers can see at any point whether reps are on track to hit their targets, identify individuals who need coaching support, and model the collective impact of individual performance on overall business objectives.
