Batch Import

Batch Import is the process of loading a large volume of records into a CRM system at one time, typically from a CSV file, spreadsheet, or external system export. It is used in CRM migrations, list uploads from marketing campaigns, trade show contact collection, and data enrichment workflows. The quality of a batch import depends heavily on preparation: field mapping must be accurate, duplicate detection must be configured, and required field validation must be in place to avoid creating incomplete or duplicate records. Enterprise CRM deployments commonly involve importing hundreds of thousands of accounts, contacts, and historical activity records during initial setup, making robust import tooling a key platform evaluation criterion.
